On this page I will share with you how to utilise the "Bahar" collection designs to create much larger designs to be used for linen, clothes etc.

1.   I created this design by mixing the designs and placing them in my way in Embird Plus. Once I was satisfied with the layout, I copied the image to my clipboard and pasted it in my paint program. With the blueprint in hand, I was now ready to start placing my templates which I printed of each design in Embird.
  2. I used designs # 5, 7, 8, and 6.  I placed design #8 to be in my center with design #5 used on the top and bottom of it to create my centerpiece. I printed off templates for these designs. As #5 is to be stitched mirror imaged, I also mirror imaged the design in Embird and printed that also. I folded my tapestry fabric in half and then half again to mark my center point. I ironed a crease there so I will know where to place  my template for design #8 which will be in the center of my complete design. I made sure that each template marked the top so I wouldn't be confused when I hooped my fabric.

  3. I hooped my tear away stabilizer (you can use sticky stabilizer also if you want) . I placed my template in the middle of the fabric where the crease was making sure that the top of my template was facing up and lined up the horizontal/vertical lines which met at the center of my fabric crease. I pinned this paper template to the fabric and took it to the machine. There I was able to match the center point of my template to the needle and then matched up the horizontal and vertical lines with the markings on the hoop. I pinned the fabric to the tear away stabilizer and started stitching.
4. Using the same method I stitched all my designs using my blueprint as the guide.

 5. Using this method I was able to create a design 18"x18".
In the corners, I wanted the smaller flowers to use as fillers, so I marked the distance from the already stitched out designs and then pinned my templates.

Here are some more ideas to use these designs.
